Raymond Goggin

Chartered Engineer & Managing Director

A graduate of U.C.C. After graduation Ray worked in McCarthy & Partners (now Atkins) before joining Molony Millar. He has since gained extensive experience in all aspects of Civil and Structural Engineering design on a wide variety of projects, including commercial, industrial, institutional and retail developments.

He has particular experience in hospital and educational projects, large retail and town centre developments, airport developments and office and residential development.

Ray has been the lead engineer/project director in many landmark projects including Ireland West Airport Knock, Mater Misericordiae Hospital, Project Kells, Ashborne Town Centre to mention a few.

Sean Twomey

Chartered Engineer & Director

Sean worked in Kevin Looby Consulting Engineers for 17 years before moving to Molony Millar in 1997 as an associate and became a director in 2005.
He has administered Government Contracts PW-CF6.Sean has extensive experience in the design, construction and inspection of Civil and Structural elements on a wide extent of projects.

He has expensive knowledge in the design of timber, masonry, reinforced concrete, steelwork and drainage elements/networks for residential (single and multistorey), hospital, retail/commercial and multistorey office developments.

He has designed SuDS measures in numerous projects in order to comply with environmental regulations/planning conditions.
Sean has provided Health and Safety services (PSDP) for various projects.

Sean has acted as Employers Representative Technical Advisor for the EWB project at the Mater Misercordiae University Hospital, Dublin 7.

Keith Atkinson

Chartered Engineer

Keith is a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland, with over twenty-five years’ experience in the AEC sector. Keith holds undergraduate qualifications in Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering as well as post graduate qualifications in Project Management and Applied Building Repair & Conservation. Keith started out working in construction in 1994 as a trainee site engineer on a large conservation project before working on a number of construction projects in the food processing industry.

Keith graduated with a National Diploma in Civil Engineering (NVQ Level 7) in 1999 and later gained valuable civil engineering design experience working on a variety of civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, drainage, and various urban renewal projects. Keith took his Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Structural Engineering (NVQ Level 8) in 2005 and later gained valuable structural engineering experience working on a wide variety of structural engineering projects, including many specialist precast design and build projects.

After a return to formal education between 2009 and 2011, Keith worked for several years as a Forensic Engineer and Building Repair Specialist, and undertook the role of Expert Witness in various legal disputes arising from insurance claims involving property damage. Keith later gained valuable project management experience looking after a number of large-scale residential engineering projects for one of the largest residential property developers in Ireland.

Keith currently holds postgraduate qualifications (NVQ Level 9) in Project management and Applied Building Repair & Conservation. Keith has been working at Molony Millar since the beginning of 2020 and is currently involved a wide variety of engineering projects, including many in the residential, healthcare and hospitality sectors.

Helder Fernandes

Structural Engineer

He graduated from Porto University in civil engineering post graduated in geotechnical/structural engineering from ATU Sligo. He has a wide range of experience in industrial, commercial, residential, and hospital projects of various sizes.

Helder has particular experience of designing with the structural European Standards and finite element modelling. He can also provide our clients with the latest BIM technologies being able to produce detailed models in Autodesk Revit, Tekla, Advance Steel etc.
